TFL 'London Stories'
My submission to TFL poster competition titled ‘London Stories’. This was the day I needed help taking my son down a set of stairs at Bow Road tube station, in his pram. I was going to ask the husband of a family who passed by me, but it was the wife who did so. She handed their youngest baby to her husband, who was already handling their two older ones, and she didn’t hesitate, picking up the other side of the pram and walked down briskly with me. I will never forget what a special gesture that was. London can be a cold, unfeeling city, but here and there you still find a gem of kindness, when you least expect.
